Situated in this pretty coastal village of Instow this property is within walking distance of stretches of golden sandy beaches and dunes as well as a popular pub/restaurant and local pottery studio. Take the seasonal passenger ferry across to the historic fishing village of Appledore where you will find a selection of independent shops cafes and galleries or head out on two wheels and follow the famous Tarka Trail along the estuary towards Braunton. During your stay pay a visit to some of this area s popular attractions such as National Trust Arlington Court and Tapeley Park or jump aboard The Oldenburg to Lundy Island for the day. Accessed via a shared passageway the cottage is cosy and inviting. Prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen which contains a gas oven microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher before stepping up into the dining area. Located on the first floor to optimise the spectacular view across the sand dunes to the estuary the lounge features comfortable seating sash windows and a TV/DVD. Also on the first floor are the two cosy bedrooms one double with en-suite shower room and one twin both accessed via short doorways while a further shower room is located downstairs. A patio door opens from the dining area onto a pretty terrace which has been decorated with potted plants and a mosaic style table for dining outside. Or if you choose to dine out follow the walkway that leads from the terrace to one of the many village pubs or restaurants. Restricted roadside parking is available or you can use the pay-and-display car park nearby. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 2 shower rooms.
