There is a delightful pub just a mile from the property with more choice in both Porthtowan and Portreath which also have a handful of shops and are two miles from the cottage in opposite directions. Both villages have lovely beaches or you could travel further to one of the many other fantastic stretches nearby including Gwithian and Perranporth. Drive to surfer s haven Newquay for a taste of Cornish nightlife a plethora of shops and restaurants and a spectacular array of beaches or head south towards St Ives for cobbled streets and quaint shops. Local attractions include Newquay Zoo the Tate Modern Healey s Cider Farm and Flambards. A single storey cottage in beautiful surroundings the owners have lovingly furnished this property. The large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a spacious and airy room with glorious countryside views and sliding French doors out to the patio. Relax on the comfortable sofas and chairs after a long day of exploring and chill out watching a film or show on the TV/DVD. There is a large dining table big enough to seat up to six people so anything you cook up in the contemporary fitted kitchen can be enjoyed altogether. The kitchen is well-equipped comprising of a gas hob and electric oven fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and washing machine. Along the hallway there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite shower room and WC whilst further along the corridor there is a double room and another with twin zip-and-link beds (which can be made into a double on request) that both have spectacular countryside views. The family bathroom has a separate shower and WC. Outside the property benefits from a patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ perfect for al fresco dining and fantastic views across the rolling hills. There is private off-road parking for two cars.
