Lympstone is a coastal village with waterside cottages and narrow streets which sits on the edge of the lovely Exe Estuary. Plan a walk or cycle along the picturesque popular estuary trail from Exmouth to Exeter. The seaside resort of Exmouth is close by with it s cliff top walks and stunning views of the bay also with rock pools and seaside attractions. Darts Farm with it s farm shop is within easy reach as is Topsham both well worth a visit. The Exe River cafe (seasonal opening hours) is accessed via boat and if celebrating a special occasion try a high tea at Michael Caine s new restaurant less than a mile from the property.The historic Cathedral city of Exeter is a short drive train or bus ride away the Roman Quarry Caves and Seaton Electric Tramway are also nearby. As you enter this unique retreat which has been decorated to evoke a calming and spacious feel you are greeted by a lavish open-plan kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped with oven and hob and fridge with ice compartment. The pull down double bed which is uniquely concealed behind a false wall sits at one end of the hut beneath a pretty window on a warm summer s evening why not lie back in bed with the stable door open and enjoy a night of gazing up at the stars or curl up and watch TV or a DVD with the wood burner crackling. Beneath the bed there is plenty of storage for your stay. Located at the other end of the hut is the en-suite shower and WC. This property takes glamping to another level. Outside the Shepherds Hut has an enclosed garden area with a table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals using the charcoal BBQ. As you dine you will notice the grazing sheep and ponies in the paddocks beyond - a truly unique and memorable experience. Need to know: 1 Double bed. 1 Shower room. With hob and oven and fridge with ice compartment. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Electric and electric heating included. Bed linen and towels included. Allocated parking for 1 car. Wi Fi available. Regret no smoking. Due to the dimensions of property we can only accept 1 small dog. Beach 2 miles, pubs and shops within walking distance. TV and DVD.
