Ideally situated for peace and tranquillity overlooking the magnificent Norfolk Broads it is perfect for spotting the resident kingfishers and herons fishing from the garden and for watching the comings and goings of everyday life on the Broads. A short stroll away is a variety of shops and restaurants and close by is Wroxham Barns with craft shops. The River Bure divides Wroxham and Hoveton but the two villages are commonly called Wroxham which is known as the capital of the Broads perfect for shopping or hiring a day boat to cruise the miles of magical waterways with charming villages and historic churches. Catch the Bure Valley steam train from Wroxham to Aylsham or take a river trip on a paddle steamer and for nature lovers How Hill nature reserve. Miles of long sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Waxham are within 12 miles. Norwich is 9 miles away with shops restaurants theatres museums and a castle.
