An idyllic coastal retreat which is perfectly situated in an elevated position taking advantage of far-reaching views over Bideford Bay the Bristol Channel and towards Lundy Island. A short walk to the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho! known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park and the picturesque Torridge Estuary. The beach offers lots of free entertainment for children whether it is roaming the rock pools playing in the surf building sand castles or flying kites. The village has an array of restaurants bars shops cafes amusements and a championship golf course. The riverside market town of Bideford is a short drive and offers shops and pannier market the port is also home to the Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island. The charming fishing village of Appledore is close by with a tidal passenger ferry to Instow. Barnstaple is just 20 minutes drive with shopping cinema and theatre On entering this architect-designed contemporary property the lofty entrance hall leads to the delightful kitchen/dining area. The well-equipped kitchen features an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Eating in is a pleasure with French windows opening onto the enclosed garden. The entrance hall also leads to a large utility room with washing machine tumble dryer and WC. Upstairs on the first floor is the open-plan lounge area and two of the three bedrooms. The lounge boasts spectacular sea views Smart TV/DVD Wii and a balcony which looks out to sea. Each well-furnished bedroom has a sea view one is a double and the other a twin both have Smart TVs with DVD and USB charging points. The large bathroom on this floor has a roll-top bath with separate shower and WC. Follow the staircase up to the second floor where you are greeted by the beautiful master family bedroom. This imposing room features one king-size and two single beds in alcoves each with an additional pull-out bed beneath (suitable for children under 10) so all the family could sleep at the top of the house! To one side there is a lounge area and Smart TV/DVD and opposite a desk/dressing table with power and USB for connecting laptop or tablet. The alcoves also have power and USB for personal devices. Off the master family room is another large bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower. Venture outside into the enclosed garden where you will find garden furniture charcoal BBQ and outside shower with hanging space for wetsuits. There are two off-road parking spaces in front of the property. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 double, 1 twin and 1 king size with 2 single beds. 2 bathrooms and 1 separate WC.
