This cottage is close to some of the most glorious destinations in Yorkshire and the quaint market town of Pateley Bridge is close by. Walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice with miles of walking and cycling routes within the area. Visit the 700-year-old Ripley Castle steeped in history with magnificent grounds lakes deer park and walled garden or How Stean Gorge for remarkable views and Stump Cross Limestone Caverns are all worth a visit. A little further afield you can venture to the Augustinian Priory ruins of Bolton Abbey located on the banks of the river Wharf with riverside and woodland walks. If you fancy a spot of retail therapy take a trip to the Spa town of Harrogate. Venture through the entrance straight into bright and spacious kitchen/diner a great place to dine and socialise together with electric oven and hob fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Just off the kitchen/diner down two steps is a separate WC. Further glass double doors off the kitchen/diner lead out onto the veranda. Take two steps up to the lounge area where you can relax and unwind on the sofas in front of the wood burner and maybe enjoy a board game or two catch up on your favourite TV show or simply unwind and enjoy the views. Also in the lounge is a sofa bed which will sleep a further two guests. Leading off the lounge you will find two double bedrooms both with showers and en-suite WC. Heading outside venture through the kitchen/diner double glass door and you find yourself on the veranda with table and chairs and charcoal BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. The views from the veranda overlook the stream and restored water wheel and the wonderful vista across Nidderdale. There is also a shared grassed area with a fire pit and seating for enjoying the wonderful dark skies for star gazing. If you are bringing your bikes there is a secure shed for storing them. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.
