This property is located in the Meads Village area of Eastbourne a thriving community located just one mile to the west of the town centre with its own shingle beach which is generally quieter than the town s main beach. For those who enjoy country walks there is access onto the South Downs Way just a short walk from the property with Beachy Head situated a pleasant and rewarding thirty-minute walk away. Eastbourne itself is a traditional seaside resort with a wide shingled beach which gives way to sand at low tide. There are a range of attractions in and around the town including the splendid Victorian pier a water sports centre the Towner Gallery and the impressive Redoubt Fortress. This property has been thoughtfully finished by the owners to create a relaxing seaside retreat. On arrival guests will first come to the light-filled lounge/diner to the front of the property with its large bay window inviting sofa and armchairs feature fireplace and dining table seating four. There is a TV here as well as a DVD and CD player for guests to relax and unwind with in the evenings. To the rear of the property the kitchen has a set of patio doors which open onto the courtyard garden and is equipped with an oven gashob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Stairs lead to the landing where there are two attractive bedrooms. The bright and airy king-size bedroom has a lovely wrought iron bedstead and there is a twin bedroom at the back. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space for clothes. The spacious bathroom which is also located on the first floor has a sumptuous roll-top bath separate cubicle shower and WC. Outside the property enjoys a decked courtyard with garden furniture which makes a delightful location for al fresco meals and drinks. There is roadside parking close to the property subject to availability for which one permit is supplied. Need to know: 2 bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 twin.
