This property enjoys a fantastic location overlooking the seafront in the popular seaside town of Whitstable. A favourite with holidaymakers to the area the town has a unique character and is populated by independent shops well-regarded restaurants and gastropubs. Seafood is the speciality here and the town is particularly renowned for its oysters although there are plenty of places to enjoy a simple fish and chip supper as well. A few minutes walk around the shingle beach past the old fishermen s sheds is the village of Tankerton with its sloping beach and prettily painted beach huts which is a popular spot for families. This property makes a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Whitstable and on arrival guests will see just how special it is with its weather-boarded exterior and attractive period features. The heart of the property is the spacious kitchen which provides a great communal space for friends and family to gather eat and simply enjoy one another s company. The beamed ceiling wooden floors and warming AGA create a wonderfully cosy atmosphere in this room which is equipped to a high standard with an oven hob fridge freezer dishwasher cafetierre breadmaker washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a DAB radio. At one end of this room is a large dining table which comfortable seats six diners whilst there is also a second dining area in the property s conservatory which leads out onto the decked terrace. There is also a small lounge on the ground floor which makes a great place to escape to with a good book or the Sunday papers. A shower room can also be found on the ground floor offering a shower and WC. The main sitting room with its uninterrupted sea views a feature fireplace and Smart TV/ DVD player can be found upstairs on the first floor as can two bedrooms. The first of these is the master bedroom with a Hypnos Premier Inn mattress on the double bed whilst the second bedroom is a bunk bedroom both of which offer plenty of space for storing clothes. Steps lead to a converted sail loft now the second double bedroom with a Hypnos premier Inn mattress. Interestingly there is also a Yahama keyboard in this room which may appeal to guests with musical skills. Completing the first floor is the main bathroom a sanctuary-like space with a large spa bath featuring underwater lighting and a WC. Outside there is a decked terrace just outside the property which offers unrivalled sea views. Parking is available in local public car parks.
