Situated within Smugglers Court in the popular hamlet of Waren Mill near Bamburgh this wonderful cottage is perfect for exploring this breathtakingly beautiful area. Just a stone s throw away is the picturesque Budle Bay home to a wide variety of bird life and you will be close to the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and the glorious stretches of the stunning golden sandy beach below. Bamburgh is also home to the RNLI Grace Darling Museum and St Aidan s Church and offers a host of pubs restaurants and boutique shops. You can follow the spectacular coastal path to picturesque villages including Seahouses Craster and Beadnell or take boat trips out the beautiful Farne Islands or the famous Holy Island of Lindisfarne. On entering this spacious and attractive holiday property which retains many original features including exposed beams and stonework you will find yourself in the light welcoming and beautifully furnished lounge. With plenty of comfy seating a stone inglenook fireplace and a large wood burner TV DVD Blu-ray VHS CD radio and iPod dock this is a great space to unwind in after a wonderful day exploring this fabulous area. From the lounge glazed double doors lead into the tastefully furnished garden room which overlooks the pretty rear garden and patio. With comfortable seating this is a perfect space to relax in and admire the views. Two steps down from the hallway will take you into the charming open-plan kitchen/diner where you will find a lovely dining area with views overlooking the stream. The stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with a double electric oven and hob microwave under counter fridge integral dishwasher 4-slice toaster and CD/radio. Exploring the extensive ground floor further you will find three cosy bedrooms. There s a king-size room with an en-suite shower room with WC and two twin bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. There is also a utility room with a washer/dryer freezer and second fridge. Heading up to the first floor you will find the landing with a bookcase and desk. A shallow step down leads you into the master bedroom with a king-size bed TV DVD and VHS. There is also a bathroom complete with WC. Stepping outside the back door leads out to a walkway at the side of the house with a park-style bench and leads on to the rear garden. You can relax and dine alfresco in the large enclosed lawn garden to the rear of the property with mature shrubs and a lovely patio area with dining furniture. The garden is extensive perfect for children to run around in or for you to sit back and take in the views of the picture-perfect countryside. A pretty stream on the other side of the garden wall where the local wildlife (and friendly farm animals) can often be seen enjoying the water makes this one of the most beautifully located cottages in Bamburgh. There s ample parking available for 2 to 3 cars inside the gated area next to the house.
