Close to the South West Coast Path the village of Northam is a great base from which to explore the North Devon coast. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail or take the public footpath along the riverbank into the Little White Town of Bideford to the south or the old fishing village of Appledore to the north. Other attractions within a short drive are The Big Sheep family fun park and the historic village of Clovelly with its whitewashed cottages and pretty harbour. A regular local bus service connects Northam to Bideford Appledore Instow and beyond. As you enter the building there is either a staircase or lift to take you to the third floor. On entering the penthouse you immediately notice the bright light rooms and the high ceilings which give the whole property a feeling of space. The large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner wows you with its fabulous view across Northam Burrows to the estuary and sea beyond. Relax on the sofa and catch up with a movie on the Smart TV with Netflix. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave coffee machine fridge/freezer washer/dryer and dishwasher. Both bedrooms are spacious the king-size has a TV and en-suite shower and WC there is a balcony from this bedroom which enjoys morning sun. The second bedroom has twin beds (which can be made into a super-king-size on request). The bathroom has a bath with a shower over and WC. The penthouse benefits from two balconies with seating and from the lounge area balcony you can enjoy superb estuary and sea views. There is allocated parking for one car which is accessed through the arch (restricted height of 1.9 metres).
