Located between Sedbergh and Dent this 16th century farmstead with original oak beams and flagstone floors is the perfect location to be able to explore both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Stunning views of the Dales from the farmhouse windows are a wonderful feature enticing walkers of all abilities to go out and explore you can leave the car behind if you wish and walk along the tranquil valley surrounding the farmhouse. Further afield you reach the stunning shores of Lake Windermere where you can explore the lake via a lake steamer and experiencing the outstanding countryside as the day floats on by. Entering through the spacious utility room which offers a washing machine tumble dryer together with a Belfast sink and ample space for jackets and boots to be stored. Extending along the corridor you have a separate WC. To your right of the corridor you enter the spacious lounge the room is enhanced with original oak beams Sky TV and wood burner the perfect place to unwind on the sofas after a day of exploration. From the lounge area you access the kitchen with a dining table in the centre seating six the kitchen area has a gas Aga electric range oven and hob microwave American style fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Moving on from the kitchen to the dining area where you have a large oak table with seating for eight this room then continues to the conservatory area with further seating and offering views across the valley. Leading off from the dining area you have a fully operational office with a double sofa bed if you require an additional sleeping area. Heading back to the corridor you come upon the original flagged steps to the second floor these have plenty of character and partly without handrails. To your immediate left you have the bathroom with hand-held shower over roll-top bath and WC. There are four bedrooms a master super-king-size with and TV and en-suite bathroom bath separate shower and WC. Further down the corridor are two twin bedrooms one with limited headroom they are both spacious and offer wonderful views. At the end of the corridor you enter the double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC. Heading outside of the property you have a shared garden area with table and chairs you can walk around the garden past the small pond and into the orchard area perfect for warm summer days and enjoying the superb views across the valley.
