This property is located overlooking the marina in the harbour town of Torbay. The thriving fishing industry here supplies the town s numerous restaurants and pubs with delicious local seafood and there is also a large fish market great for keen cooks. The harbour is also home to a number of pleasure craft which take tourists on relaxing trips of the bay including dive trips and fishing expeditions. The town is rightfully proud of its maritime history and there is a fantastic replica of the Golden Hind moored in the harbour which offers visitors the opportunity to experience life on board a Tudor ship. Further afield the towns of Torquay and Paignton are both popular with visitors and make great places to enjoy day trips. This lovingly-maintained and thoughtfully-styled property offers comfortable accommodation for a relaxing and enjoyable break. The front door opens onto the ground-floor accommodation where there is a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner which has a dining table seating eight and is equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A patio door opens onto the patioed seating area. Stairs lead to the lower-ground floor where two of the property s bedrooms are situated. The first of these is a double room whilst the other is a pleasant twin. There is a shower room on this floor with shower and WC as well as a utility room where the washing machine and tumble dryer are kept. Returning to the upper-ground floor another set of stairs lead to the first floor where there are two more bedrooms both of which have king-size beds and one of which has its own TV. The main bathroom on this floor offers a shower-over-bath and WC. A final set of stairs lead to the second floor which is occupied by the stunning lounge with its amazing panoramic views of the town s marina and out to sea. There are four comfortable sofas here as well as a TV and DVD. There is also a convenient shower room with walk-in shower and WC on this floor. Outside there is a fabulous raised patio area which is accessed through the patio doors on the ground-floor and offers a seating area with unrivalled views out to sea.
