Close to the South West Coast Path the village of Northam with its shops and pub makes this a great base to explore the North Devon coast. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail or take the public footpath along the riverbank into the little white town of Bideford to the south or the village of Appledore to the north. Also within close proximity of the apartment and just a short drive away are the seaside towns of Westward Ho! with its two miles of beach and the village of Instow with its yacht club The Big Sheep family fun park and Northam Burrows Country Park. A regular bus service connects Northam to Bideford Appledore Instow and beyond. As you enter the building there is a staircase or lift to take you to the third floor. On entering the penthouse you immediately notice the bright and light rooms and the high ceilings which gives the whole property a feeling of space. The large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner wows you with its fabulous view from the dual aspect balcony with seating looking across in one direction over the rooftops to the panoramic estuary and sea beyond. The other direction towards the village of Northam. Relax on the sofa and catch up with a movie on the Smart TV cook or order a takeaway and eat in style at the oak dining table. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher coffee machine and washer/dryer. The penthouse benefits from two balconies with seating and from the lounge area balcony you can enjoy superb sunsets. There is shared parking and an allocated space for one car which is accessed through the arch (restricted height of 1.9 metres).
