This Victorian property is located just a short walk from the seafront in the Meads Village area of Eastbourne. The beach at this side of town is quieter than Eastbourne s main beach and is backed on one side by pretty Italian-style gardens. There is a thriving community in Meads Village which offers a good choice of shops restaurants and pubs just a few minutes from the property s front door. Eastbourne town centre which is well served by local buses is just two miles from the property and offers a traditional beach with beach hut hire the lovingly restored Victorian pier and seaside shops. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored to provide a contemporary accommodation whilst in keeping with the property s Victorian roots. Upon entering the property guests will find themselves in the lounge which provides a comfy sofa and armchairs where you can either watch the TV or relax overlooking the gardens. The next room you come to is the kitchen which offers an electric oven and hob fridge and microwave. There is a dining table and chairs in the kitchen a great space for entertaining. From the kitchen there is a door to the pretty patio garden. Heading up the steep winding stairs to the first floor there is a double bedroom with views over the square which benefits from an en-suite shower and WC a twin bedroom and a small single bedroom. Also on this floor guests can find the large bathroom which offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside there is a secluded courtyard garden with table and chairs an ideal spot for lunch or an evening drink after a day of exploring the beautiful Sussex countryside. At the front of the cottage there is the outlook over the pretty square with private allotments and flower gardens. There is roadside parking nearby where a permit is provided.
