This delightful property lies just under a mile from the lovely village of Cartmel which is located on the beautiful Cartmel Peninsula and boasts stunning views ancient buildings an impressive medieval priory as well as a selection of fine pubs and restaurants complimented by local food and artisan shops. There are many wonderful local walks notable destinations include Hampsfell and Eggerslack Wood a limestone fell and ancient woodland offering panoramic views of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District Mountains and where in spring the woodland is carpeted in bluebells. The village is only twelve miles from the foot of Lake Windermere and from here it is easy to explore wider areas of the National Park.
