About Isle of Skye Holiday House

This lovely detached stone cottage located in an elevated position overlooking Loch Greshornish only thirteen miles from the harbour town of Portree. Visit the majestic Old Man of Storr here you can explore where the dinosaurs roamed and take in the history of this wonderful area. You could take a drive along the Trotternish Peninsular a splendid circular route and see the Hebridies on a clear day. Take a drive south to the Cuillin Mountain ranges where you can hike or look in awe at the majestic views on offer wherever you explore you will not be disappointed perfect for walking cycling or just relaxing. Enter this stunning cottage directly into a spacious entrance hallway where coats and boots can be stored before moving into the lounge relax on one of the sofas and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner here you will be truly cosy and enjoy watching the SkyTV/DVD. There is also a selection of books and games available in hallway. Moving into the kitchen/diner the stylish kitchen area has an electric oven and induction hob microwave American style fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining area that can comfortably seat seven with beautiful loch views you can also have access to the garden area. Heading into the hallway you have a separate WC and under the stairs you have a utility area consisting of a washer/dryer. Also off the hallway you will find a spacious ground floor super-king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath separate shower and WC. Heading up the stairs you have a hallway and leading off on your right and down the corridor you have a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC heading in the opposite direction along the corridor you come upon a study room that includes a desk and chair for you to sit and read. Further down the corridor you can access the shower room with shower and WC. Following onto the single bedroom and finally at the end of the corridor you have the super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a twin on request). All the bedrooms have breath taking views to enjoy whatever the weather has in store for you. Moving back to the ground floor and into the kitchen where you can access the outside space here you have three acres of natural landscape to explore as well as a seating area with two benches making this the ideal place to enjoy warm summer evenings al fresco dining and the peace and tranquillity that this area has to offer. There is off-road parking for five cars.
