About Cresswell Holiday Cottage

The charming coastal village of Cresswell offers some stunning scenery and great bird watching opportunities. The popular Druridge Bay runs 7 miles from Amble to Cresswell. Teeming with wildlife this is a great spot to spend a day walking cycling or just paddling in the surf. You will also be just three miles from Druridge Bay Country Park home to a picturesque lake and plenty of wildlife. The fishing town of Amble is just 10 miles away or you could take a boat trip to Coquet Island to see some amazing wildlife. Warkworth is another popular village nearby with a medieval castle a choice of shops riverside walks boat trips and a lovely beach. On entering this fantastic property you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting lounge. Retaining original features including beautiful exposed beams and a traditional wood burner set in a feature stone fireplace the lounge is an ideal space for relaxing in with comfy seating TV DVD iPod dock and views out over the countryside to Cresswell Tower. The second bedroom is a twin room also with exposed beams and a glass-fronted Juliet balcony with views of the sea. You will also find a shower room complete with power-shower and WC. Stepping outside you will find at the front of the property a lovely enclosed paved garden which perfectly catches the afternoon sun and features carefully planted flower beds and a bench seat. From here you can look over the countryside and the medieval Peel Tower in the distance. At the rear you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets from the cottage s very own bench seat on the bank top overlooking the Northumberland coastline towards Druridge Bay and beyond. There is lockable storage for walking gear and bikes and ample off-road parking for one car on the hard standing next to the out-house at the rear of the cottage.
