About Eshott Hall Holiday Cottage

Approached via the sweeping driveway that leads to the Elshott Hall country house the cottage is one of three holiday homes within these pretty grounds. It is well located being close to the national road network but also secluded enough for a peaceful countryside stay. There is a wide choice of places to visit within a 10 mile radius including the scenic Northumberland National Park the beaches on the east coast and Alnwick Castle all are highly recommended and can be easily reached by car. The historic town of Morpeth is 10 miles away where there is a weekly market and several places to eat and shop. Burgham Park Golf and Leisure club are just three miles west and for families the Northumberland County Zoo is nearby. The cottage is a single-level property and has been comfortably restored using elegant high-quality furnishings. The lounge/dining room has high ceilings a coal-effect gas fire a large sofa and armchairs with a dining table and six chairs. The kitchen comes well-equipped with a gas hob electric double oven microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. There is everything needed for self-catering and a small breakfast table offers a place to enjoy a coffee before heading out for the day. There are three large bedrooms sleeping six people comfortably. The twin has French doors that open on to a courtyard and comes with two single beds. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom with bath shower and WC which is accessed via doors from the twin bedroom and from the hallway. The other two bedrooms are both doubles. There is off-road parking for the cottage and a gravelled area to the front. A garden table and bench chairs are outside for al fresco dining. There is a courtyard at the back filled with lavender plants and the cottage enjoys long views from Eshott Hall gardens across the Northumberland countryside.
