This delightful cottage is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland countryside. The nearby village of Beadnell is perfect for a day at the beach with the crescent-shaped Beadnell Bay boasting plenty of golden sand dunes and is a popular spot for participating in water sports. You can cycle walk or drive along this beautiful stretch of coastline with horse riding and golf opportunities also available. The magnificent Bamburgh Castle is just 10 miles away as is the market town of Alnwick famous for its castle and water gardens. A trip to see the seals on the Farne Islands is a must from the bustling village of Seahouses which also has a great range of shops pubs and restaurants. On entering this lovely and cosy property a charming entrance hallway takes you into the pretty and welcoming lounge. Tastefully furnished and with plenty of comfy seating TV DVD music system and a wood burner effect electric fire the inviting and spacious lounge is an ideal space to relax in. There is also a charming dining area and double doors lead straight out to the private garden. Moving into the spacious and attractive kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an AGA style gas oven microwave toaster cafetiere dishwasher washing machine and fridge/freezer. You will also find a ground-floor WC. Going upstairs to the first floor you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There s a master bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage space and a cosy twin room. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside you can unwind sit back and dine alfresco in the charming enclosed front garden with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ. There is a private drive with ample space for one car. If you have a second car there is room on-site just a few yards away. The beautiful private Ellingham Hall a stately home dating back to the 19th century takes a prominent position in front of the cottage. Within the grounds children will be delighted by the amazing shared treehouse play area.
