Set on the rocky limestone uplands of the southern White Peak the village of Brassington is surrounded by breathtaking countryside and boasts a 400 year old pub. Near to the Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail so it is ideal for walkers and many visitors come to the region to try a section of the Pennine Way. Nearby Carsington Water is a spectacular nature reserve and sailing centre and other outdoor sports are endless including rock climbing cycling caving and pot-holing horse riding and kayaking. Travel into the Peak District National Park for a day out at Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall or visit one of the many local market towns with their numerous antique shops such as Bakewell and Ashbourne. This reverse-level property has been converted from a 250 year old agricultural barn into a delightful holiday home. The ground-floor consists of a quirky and cool cinema room with Blu-ray/DVD giant screen and sound-system. There is a collection of contemporary and classic films to choose from making it perfect for cosy nights in. Also on the ground floor is a wet-room with shower and WC and a utility boot room to store outdoor footwear and coats here you will also find a washing machine. Heading up to the first floor you will find the lounge/kitchen/diner and the bedroom. The lounge area offers ample seating in front of a wood burner and a TV the perfect spot to relax after a long day of walking. The dining area has seating for two to enjoy a meal together. The kitchen area comes equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The bedroom is a lovely light space with a double bed and a freestanding stone bath. The property has no garden however there is a bench at the front of the property which has views down the valley and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee. There is an allocated off-road parking for one car.
