One of two adjoining stone cottages set in the heart of Wensleydale surrounded by magnificent rural views across farmland and the wonderful dry-stone walls for which the Yorkshire Dales are famed. From this warm and cosy cottage you could watch the magnificent local wildlife. Take a short trip to the nearby market town of Hawes home to the famous Wensleydale cheese and the Dales Countryside Museum. Head to magnificent Aysgarth Falls one of Wensleydale s most popular beauty spots featured in the Kevin Costner film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves with pleasant riverside walks linking the Upper Middle and Lower Fells. Also close by is Bolton Abbey and the Yorkshire Three Peaks routes. There is certainly plenty for everyone to enjoy. A warm welcome awaits you as you enter into the entrance hall the ideal spot to leave those muddy boots behind. Step into the snug lounge with a lovely open fire and comfortable sofa where you can enjoy a good book or relax in front of the TV after a busy day out and about exploring. In the lounge area there is also a dining table with seating for up to 6 people. Leading off the entrance hall to the right with a step down is the kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob a microwave and a fridge with ice compartment. The kitchen enjoys splendid views from the rear window. Also off the entrance hall to the right is the cloak room with WC and hanging space for your coats. Heading up the cottage stairs to the first floor you will find one double bedroom and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Further cottage steps take you to another double bedroom with access to the twin bedroom via more steps ideal as a family room alternative. The attention to detail with the furnishings in the bedrooms is exquisite. Heading outside you with find a pretty garden to the front of the property with table and chairs you may even get the odd visiting sheep pop by to say hello. To the right of the property is an under-croft parking space for one car. From the under-croft a door leads into a utility room with washing machine and ample space to store your bicycles. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 doubles and 1 twin. 1 twin is accessed through the master bedroom. Whilst the property does comfortably sleep 6, the sofas in the seating area of the lounge may be considered small for 6 adults. 1 bathroom and 1 separate WC.
