This cottage is located in the Meads Village area to the west of Eastbourne. A stay in Meads is a fantastic choice for those who want to make the most of the breath-taking countryside which neighbours Eastbourne as there is direct access onto the South Downs Way just 200 yards from the property s front door. Just under two miles across the cliffs is the renowned beauty spot Beachy Head which offers some of the most spectacular coastal views in the area. The local beach Holywell is close to the property. This shingle beach is a much quieter and laidback alternative to the main town beach whilst the addition of pretty Italianate gardens and a tea chalet make it a delightful place to spend a day. This property offers guests the chance to stay in a traditional fishermen s cottage for an authentic taste of Sussex seaside life. The lounge is a wonderfully cosy room with a sofa to relax on a wall mounted smart TV and a dining table and chairs. A door leads through to the modestly-sized and yet well-equipped kitchen which offers an oven hob microwave an integrated washing machine and a fridge and freezer. There is a steep winding staircase leading to the first floor of the property where there is one bedroom: a restful double room with plenty of storage space in the built-in wardrobes. The seaside-themed bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. The bedroom offers plenty of storage in a built-in wardrobe and there is also a dressing table and chair. Outside there is a very small seating area to the front of the property and a courtyard patio to the rear which is accessed through the kitchen. There is roadside permit parking close to the property for which one permit is supplied.
