This cottage is located in the small village of Longframlington which lies in the Coquet Valley close to Rothbury Alnwick and the award-winning Northumberland coastline. It is an easy walk into the village to sample the delights of the renowned artisan bakery a pub and appraise a local ale from the village pub. Nearby attractions include Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden - only 20 minutes by car the National Trust s Cragside House and Gardens in the popular market town of Rothbury a few miles away. Brinkburn Priory the medieval Warkworth Castle and the popular seaside town of Amble with its great range of shops restaurants and boat trips from the harbour to the popular nature reserve of Coquet Island. After a day exploring the wonderful Northumberland countryside you can come home to a beautiful welcoming and unique property. The entrance reveals a spacious hallway that leads into the magnificent Gin Gang formerly a threshing barn which has been converted into a very spacious circular sitting room offering lots of light and fantastic panoramic views comfortable sofas wood burning stove flatscreen TV DVD player large dining table and chairs for 8 guests. French doors lead from the lounge onto the enclosed patio and the garden. The dining room hosts a circular table with seating for 4 feature fireplace welsh dresser with a good selection of books and an easy chair. At the back of the cottage sits a country style kitchen containing a range cooker breakfast table fridge/freezer washer/dryer dishwasher and microwave. At the top of the stairs you will find this spacious cottage boasts 3 king-size bedrooms one with an en-suite bathroom containing a large walk-in shower over the bath and roll-top bath and 1 small double bed. For a large group there is an en-suite bathroom attached to one of the king rooms and an additional upstairs bathroom with WC. This luxurious property also offers its guests free guest Wi-Fi underfloor heating and toasty wood burning stoves for those cosy evenings with family and friends. With a quarter of an acre of private garden there is plenty of space outdoors to run around or just relax and enjoy the sunshine and views. The enclosed patio-garden is filled with colourful plants and shrubs a garden table and chairs with parasol for outdoor dining and a BBQ for use. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome with an additional charge. There is private off-road parking for up to two cars.
