This beautifully furnished cottage is ideally situated on the outskirts of Ellingham a Northumberland village with a popular pub midway between Berwick and Alnwick. A short drive away is the beach town of Beadnell renowned for its surfing sailing and scuba diving centred on a huge bay stretching for miles. Nature lovers will enjoy a trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands easily reached by boat with the opportunity to see seals and local birdlife. Harry Potter fans and history buffs alike will be thrilled with a visit to Alnwick Castle featured as Hogwarts in the first two films. Internationally known for its 16th-century castle and medieval history the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is less than 20 miles away. Set over two floors this lovely cottage is ideal for a family break with a well-equipped range of facilities in every room. The ground floor benefits from a separate utility room with a cloakroom leading to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Furnishings include two double sofas a dining table with four chairs and an electric fire with a cosy log burning effect. Free Free WiFi is available throughout the cottage and there is a TV/ DVD and a hi-fi in the lounge area. Double doors open from the lounge straight on to the private garden. The kitchen has an extensive range of fixtures and fittings including a Range-style oven washing machine microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The first floor has two bedrooms one double and one twin. The bathroom also situated on the first floor has a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside is a private garden complete with garden table and chairs and a BBQ. Private parking is available for two cars one on the drive and one on site a few yards further away.
