The idyllic village of Lympstone offers a choice of fine dining village stores/Post Office a cafe and four public houses. The Exe Estuary Trail is popular and perfect for walkers and cyclists. The thriving seaside town of Exmouth is close by with two miles of golden sandy beach bustling town and seaside attractions. Exe Watersports with all that it has to offer is close by. Darts Farm with its farm shop is within easy reach as is the estuary town of Topsham. The Exe River cafe (seasonal opening hours) is accessed via boat or the ferry and is well worth a visit. The historic Cathedral City of Exeter is a short drive train or bus ride away. For those special occasions visit celebratory chef Michael Caine s restaurant Lympstone Manor a short walk from the property. On entering this beautifully dressed barn conversion you are greeted by the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area which boasts original features such as exposed beams throughout the downstairs. After a day of exploring all that South Devon has to offer why not cosy up in front of the TV with DVD player. Leading off the lounge area up a couple of steps is a well-appointed kitchen with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer washing machine and dishwasher. Great for budding cooks should you choose to bring back local ingredients from the nearby farm shops the local butcher or fresh fish from the coast. The shower room with WC which is accessed via a couple of steps is located downstairs adjacent to the staircase.
