This cottage gives guests the chance to live like locals in the beautiful coastal of Whitstable with its pretty shingle beach bustling fishing harbour impressive range of independent boutiques a collection of workshops and galleries and numerous eateries ranging from casual fish and chip shops to a well-regarded oyster bar overlooking the sea. The rest of East Kent is equally appealing to visitors offering a wealth of places of interest and attractions within easy reach including Canterbury Cathedral the Dreamland theme park in Margate and the Aspinall-owned wildlife parks of Port Lympne and Howletts. This beautifully updated fishermen s cottage retains much of its original charm alongside and is a wonderful place to spend a seaside holiday. The front door opens directly into the semi-open plan living space with the lounge area at the front and the dining area towards the rear. The lounge area is the ideal place to relax after a busy day with its attractive mid-century-style furnishings exposed brick fireplace TV/DVD. The dining area offers a table seating four beyond which is the kitchen equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom can also be found on the ground floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Stairs in the living area lead up to the first floor where there are three light and airy bedrooms. The first of these is a lovely double room whilst the other two are both peaceful single rooms. Outside there is an enclosed decked garden to the rear of the property which makes an ideal place to enjoy alfresco dining as it is furnished with a table and bench seating. There is roadside parking available locally.
