Nestled in the pretty town of Broadstairs with its wide range of independent shops pubs and restaurants and within walking distance from Viking Bay beach this cottage is ideal for a family getaway. The cottage is only a short distance from the nearby towns of Margate with the recently restored family attraction Dreamland and Tuner Contemporary Gallery Ramsgate where you can watch the sailing boats moor up in the Marina and the historic City of Canterbury known for great shopping and Canterbury Cathedral. For keen walkers and cyclists there is a wide range of cycle and footpaths nearby making this the perfect base for couples and families looking to escape it all. Entering the welcoming hallway on the ground floor there is space for dropping off shoes and coats. To the right of the hallway is the second lounge with two comfy sofas surrounding Smart TV which is equipped with essential mod cons including Freesat and Netflix and a coal effect gas fire. Other rooms off the hallway include a bright and airy twin bedroom and a shower room with shower and WC. Stairs from the hallway lead down to the lower ground floor where you will find the open-plan space offering a lounge/kitchen/diner. Kitchen/diner area is well-equipped with an electric aga microwave fridge with ice compartment dishwasher washing machine tumble dryer coffee machine and a dining table which can comfortably seat four. The lounge area has two sofas and a Smart TV make for a great place to relax after dinner curled up in front of the wood burner effect gas fire. From the ground floor hallway stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a king-size bedroom and a bathroom with a roll top bath and WC. A door from the ground floor hallway leads out into the fully enclosed courtyard which offers a patio table and chairs perfect for al fresco dining.
