Rowlands Gill is less than half a mile away offering a good range of shops newsagents restaurants and takeaways while the nearest pub is located one mile away in Burnopfield. For a day out with a difference experience the Beamish open-air museum which is set within 300 acres of County Durham countryside or head to nearby Newcastle for some retail therapy.
