This is a perfect base for exploring the stunning Northumberland AONB. From the tranquil and secluded hamlet of Ellingham you are within an easy 10-minute drive of beautiful Beadnell. With a glorious stretch of golden sandy beach the fantastic bay is renowned for the many water sporting activities you can enjoy throughout the year. You can take a stroll along the beach to the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle or explore some of the other lovely seaside villages along the coastal path including Seahouses and Bamburgh. You can take boat trips out to Holy Island or the Farne Islands explore the castles of Warkworth and Bamburgh or head inland to Alnwick and visit the famous Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden. This lovely property is accessed via an external staircase and then through the sliding doors which allow light to flood into the cottage all day. On entering this charming and cosy holiday property for two you will find yourself in the snug and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. With comfy seating TV a traditional wood burner and a choice of books games and DVDs the inviting and pretty lounge is an ideal space to unwind in. You will also find a cosy double bed just to the rear of the main living area. Moving over to the attractively designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an induction hob and electric oven dishwasher under counter fridge with ice compartment microwave toaster and washing machine. You will also find a delightful dining area. There s a shower room complete with a shower cubicle and WC. Stepping out from the main sliding doors you can sit back and relax on the large south-east facing furnished balcony which is a wonderful spot for watching the sunrise and observing the local bird life and admiring the views of the open countryside. There s also a lovely enclosed garden with a patio area where you can sit and relax listening to the birds. There s also a brick-built BBQ and garden furniture. Ample parking space is available for one car on the drive. Please note this driveway is shared with this property s sister cottage Farley Cottage.
