A must visit during your stay is to the historic landmark of Haytor where the first mention of the tor was in 1566. The market town of Ashburnton is within easy reach of the property and boasts an array of shops cafes restaurants and family activities. Fancy a trip to the beach? Take a drive towards the coast and discover the pretty South Hams an area of exceptional beauty and contrasts with fabulous beaches river estuaries rolling hills and thatched cottages surrounding the lovely old towns of Dartmouth Totnes Kingsbridge Salcombe Modbury and Ivybridge.
