This property has direct access to the beach at low tide via its own private steps. Polruan is an ancient fishing village famous for its boat building heritage. Perfectly positioned on the Fowey river estuary which is a thriving centre for fishing seafaring shipbuilding and agriculture. There are two village pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin. Enter in the porch the ideal place to leave your coats and muddy boots. Three steps down from this leads you to the kitchen area. Which is equipped with electric oven and hob microwave fridge with small freezer compartment and washing machine. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with WC heading up the stairs to the second floor is the bedroom/lounge area. The bedroom has a king-size bed DAB radio and stunning views over the river. Up a couple of steps is the lounge are with two chairs and a TV/DVD. By far this room s main feature is the views from all areas. Please note there is a curtain that can separate the lounge area and the bedroom area. Heading outside there is a small shared terrace area overlooking the river with table and chairs allowing you to take breakfast a glass of wine or a romantic dinner taking in the river view with just the lapping of the tide to lull you into instant relaxation mode. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars..
