About Docking Holiday Cottage

This cottage sits in a courtyard off the main road in the Norfolk village of Docking. The village is home to a good pub together with a small supermarket for collecting essentials and a fish and chip shop located just around the corner from the property. Brancaster beach is just six miles away boasting miles of unspoilt golden sand as far as the eye can see. With a string of traditional coastal towns and villages vast expanses of sandy beaches and wildlife-rich nature reserve the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has something for everyone. Inside the cottage has been lovingly renovated to provide spacious and stylish accommodation in-keeping with its original character. On the ground floor the kitchen is a stunning space for entertaining with stone flooring bespoke units a central island and butler sink. Here you will find an electric oven and halogen hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Once prepared enjoy tasty group meals in the connecting dining room which features heavy oak furniture exposed ceiling beams and a feature fireplace. At the end of a long day relax and unwind in the cosy lounge which is decorated in calming neutral tones with comfortable sofas occasional lighting dual aspect windows and a smart TV. Upstairs there are three charming bedrooms. One double with TV that overlooks the front of the cottage while the master double with TV and adjoining single bedroom (which is not suitable for a tall adult more suitable for a child) have access to the main bathroom with fantastic roll-top bath and handheld shower. There is an additional shower room with walk-in shower. To the front of the property is a delightful walled patio area with pretty gate and table and chairs for enjoying al fresco drinks. Parking in the courtyard is on a first come first served basis with additional parking on the road. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 double with TV , 1 double with TV and 1 single adjoining bedroom (not suitable for a tall adult, more appropriate for a child),. 2 bathrooms 1 with roll top bath, handheld shower and WC, 1 shower room and WC. Electric oven and halogen hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Smart TV/DVD in the lounge. Patio with garden furniture. Unallocated on site parking and on street parking available. 1 dog welcome. Towels included. Wi Fi included.
