Burnham Overy Staithe is a small but bustling coastal village with a creek-side harbour and salt marshes and channels out to sea. The village is a major recreational sailing centre and is part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can catch the ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island which is a beautiful bird and seal sanctuary with plenty of wintering birds plus barn owls hares and seals to look out for. There are plenty of lovely villages and towns to visit nearby including Burnham Market Holkham home to the vast Holkham Estate and Burnham Thorpe the birthplace of Nelson. The popular towns of King s Lynn and Holt are within easy driving distance. On entering this lovely property a large and open hallway leads you through to the light and airy lounge which is an ideal space to relax in with plenty of comfy seating TV and a traditional wood burner.
