This property is located in the seaside village of Burnham Overy Staithe on the North Norfolk coast and is within walking distance of the village pub which makes it ideal for enjoying a leisurely evening stroll and drinks. The village s impressively wide beach is also within walking distance and is a splendid stretch of unspoilt sand which is approached across the marshes and across the dunes of the Holkham Nature Reserve. The village boathouse stands proudly on the quay and it is from here that visitors can hire canoes or take the ferry over to the island of Scolt Head a splendidly secluded spot which makes a lovely day trip for wildlife enthusiasts keen walkers and those who simply wish to escape to this tranquil island paradise for a day of sunbathing and picnicking. Guests enter this ground-floor property through sliding doors which open directly into the spacious open-plan lounge/diner. The lounge area is a lovely light-filled space with an inviting sofa and chairs from where guests can enjoy a film on the Smart TV/DVD in the lounge and the warming glow of the wood burner-effect electric fire. The kitchen is situated just off the lounge/diner and comes equipped with everything that guests will need to make themselves at home including an oven hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and a dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer meanwhile are kept in a large cupboard in the master bedroom an attractive room which offers a king-size bed an electric fire built-in wardrobes and views out to the staithe. The neighbouring twin bedroom also has an electric fire as well as a collection of children s books and games which will no doubt be of interest to younger guests. The property s bathroom has been finished in a sleek contemporary style and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. To the rear of the property accessed through the sliding patio doors in the lounge the property s garden has a lovely secluded feel to it and offers a patio seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ alongside a small lawn. There is off-road parking available for two cars as well as space for storing boats.
