The owners have added lots of thoughtful touches to make your stay truly memorable and you can enjoy lovely countryside views from the cottage spend time outside in the two gardens either dining playing or relaxing in the Shepherd s Hut as well as have a little taste of farm life with cows horses and sheep as your friendly neighbours. Nearby you have easy access to supermarkets local shops restaurants and pubs and a short drive takes you to the Metro station for trips into the city centre. Just a short drive away you have Tynemouth and Whitley Bay for all of the family to enjoy and slightly further afield you have the vibrant city of Newcastle with shopping to cultural events. You enter the cottage into the bright and airy kitchen where you have everything you need to prepare a meal with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a small breakfast bar with two stools for anyone who likes to socialise whilst the cooking is happening. Moving through the bright hallway into the lounge/diner/snug you will find two comfortable sofas and an armchair where you can relax in front of the wood burner and watch TV/DVD. The snug area has another large sofa and a rocking chair and is the ideal place for afternoon tea reading a book or simply enjoying the views of the rear garden and countryside beyond. For meals in together there is a large dining table and six chairs in the dining area. Back through the hallway there are three bedrooms to choose from the beautiful king-size bedroom with views of the rear garden a light and airy twin bedroom also with rear garden views and a pretty double bedroom with views across the front garden to the farmyard and livestock. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside access is from the hallway onto a decked area with patio table and chairs. Take a step down onto the beautiful enclosed rear garden with a small stone wall and mature hedges over which you can see open countryside with the family horses and sheep grazing nearby. The large side garden is enclosed by the main gate and is home to an additional seating area in the form of a good Shepherd s Hut complete with sofa rocking chair lighting and electric - a perfect place to steal away for some quiet time to watch the sun go down. The property also benefits from bike storage which is great for those who want to explore the area on two wheel. There is parking for up to two cars within the cottage grounds.
