This property is situated in the village of Bishops Thornton in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside just a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales. In the village itself the local family-run pub offers home-cooked food and is a great place to retreat to in the evenings. To the south of the property the town of Harrogate is located within a fifteen-minute drive and is well-known for its famous tea room and Turkish baths. The Grade I listed castle at Ripley meanwhile is situated just 3 miles from the cottage and offers attractive gardens a tearoom and offers tours of the castle including specialist tours aimed at children. Stepping inside this thoughtfully updated Georgian property guests will first come to a handy boot room off from which they will find a cloakroom with WC which also contains the washer/dryer. A door leads through to the open-plan living area which comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner and has been finished with some unique touches including wrought iron barstools and a decorative anvil. An L-shaped sofa allows guests somewhere to relax perhaps whilst enjoying the heat of the cosy wood burner and a film on the Smart TV. The kitchen area overlooks the lounge area and offers an oven microwave fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor of the property where there are two double bedrooms each of which benefits from its own Smart TV. One of the rooms even offers a dressing area as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC whilst the other has an en-suite shower room offering a shower and WC. Guests staying at the property have access to a shared courtyard and garden area with garden furniture. There is ample parking available.
