The village is situated on a saltwater creek which is just outside the accommodation from where you can hop on a boat to nearby Scolt Head Island and its fabulous natural environment of sand dunes birdlife and seals. Just 15 minutes by road is Wells-next-the-Sea home to another of Norfolk s impressive sweeps of golden sand and a charming town in its own right its grand Georgian buildings galleries and shops are well worth a visit. Back in the village you ll love spending time in The Hero a terrific pub with a mouthwatering menu. Flagstaff Boathouse is in the grounds of Flagstaff House which was once the home of Captain Woodget of the Cutty Sark. You access the property through the front door into an entrance hall with a delightful twin bedroom on your left that has an en-suite shower room with WC. Also on the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Ascend a flight of stairs to the first-floor accommodation and arguably the showpiece of the property the lounge/diner.
