This attractive property enjoys a quiet location in the tranquil village of Nidd in North Yorkshire. To the west of the village just 1.5 miles from the property the village of Ripley is home to a 700-year old castle which boasts a deer park and beautiful lakeside gardens making it a lovely place to while away an afternoon. 3.5 miles to the south meanwhile the historic market town of Knaresborough sits on the River Nidd and offers pretty streets lined with shops and a choice of eateries. The town also happens to be home to Englands oldest tourist attraction: Mother Shiptons Cave. This quirky attraction is not only home to the cave itself but also a fascinating petrifying well. Other places of interest locally include RHS Harlow Carr Brimham Rocks and the spa town of Harrogate. Upon entering this property which was once the local village hall guests come directly to the sleek and contemporary-style kitchen. This bright space has been finished to a high standard and offers breakfast bar seating for four as well as an excellent range of equipment including an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The main living space meanwhile comprises an open-plan lounge/diner with an impressive double-height ceiling. The dining table which comfortably seats six diners sits in the window whilst there is also an inviting corner sofa which offers guests the perfect spot to enjoy the TV/DVD as well as the heat from the cosy wood burner. Stairs from this room lead to a twin bedroom on the open-plan style mezzanine floor next to which there is a dressing area with additional fold-out single bed available for an extra charge. The other bedroom a double room with a 5ft bed is located on the ground floor and benefits from an en-suite shower and WC in addition to which there is also a second shower room also with shower and WC. Outside guests have access to spacious shared gardens which offer the ideal place to relax and for children to play as it includes a childrens play area. Garden furniture is provided to help guests to make the most of this space. There is guest-parking available for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double with 5ft bed and 1 twin.
