This property enjoys a fantastic location right next to the River Nidd in the market town of Knaresborough. Leisurely walks along the riverside esplanade can be enjoyed directly from the property s front door where it is just a short stroll to a pretty riverside cafe which is also home to a boat hire company where rowing boats seating up to six people can be hired. The towns shops cafes and pubs are mostly clustered around the marketplace which sits in an elevated position overlooking the river as is the towns medieval castle which makes for an interesting afternoon of sightseeing. Just next to the castle the old courthouse is now home to the towns museum whilst at the opposite end of town Mother Shiptons Cave is widely believed to be Englands oldest tourist attraction and is home to a fascinating petrifying well. Upon arrival at this attractive property guests are able to relax after their journey in the spacious lounge which boasts two distinct seating areas. The first of these is in front of the large picture window which overlooks the river whilst the other is at the far-end of the room and comprises a large corner sofa a flame-effect electric fire and a TV with Sky Channels. Just next to the lounge the kitchen/diner is another generously-sized room with a dining table at one end and a well-equipped kitchen space at the other where guests will find an oven hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The first of these is the king-size master bedroom which not only features an en-suite shower room with shower and WC but also large French windows which open onto a Juliet balcony offering views of the river below. The second and third bedrooms are both pleasant double rooms on featuring Juliet balcony whilst the family bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside guests will find an enclosed patio to the front of the property which is furnished with a table and chairs allowing guests to sit out and enjoy the views of the river over al fresco drinks or meals. There is off-road parking to the side of the house for two small or one large car with further roadside parking available locally.
