Harrogate is an attractive spa-town close with some excellent historic visitor attractions including the Royal Pump House Museum the Turkish Baths town parks like the Valley Gardens and The Stray with its own pine woodlands. Be sure to track down Bettys Café for afternoon tea: its a local treasure. A few miles out of town you can visit Knaresborough Castle and take a walk along the River Nidd; check out the striking ruins at Fountains Abbey and Studley Garden - the areas most popular visitor attractions. If you fancy a walk on the moors and dales Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales National Park offer some brilliant beauty spots to head out to. Time your trip for May to see the Tour de Yorkshire if long distance cycling is your thing. This first floor apartment has some lovely light and spacious rooms. The lounge overlooks St Marys Avenue which is very close to the artists enclave in Cold Bath Road. The lounge diner has abundant comfortable seating to curl up after a long day to watch TV or to simply catch up on some reading. There is a sofa bed for a third guest to sleep on also a fold away dining table with seating for four. The compact kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob a microwave fridge/freezer and a washing machine. The bedroom with a king size double is adjacent to the lounge. The bed can be split into twins on request. The bathroom comes with a shower over the bath. The separate WC is close by.
