Conveniently located with the historic market town of Abergavenny just a short drive away. For the more energetic you can walk or cycle the old disused railway line now tarmacked traffic free from Clydach to the edge of Abergavenny which is famed for its annual food festival and its independent shops pubs restaurants cafes and a weekly market. The location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and walkers of all abilities take a stroll along the canal explore Sugar Loaf Mountain or take up the challenge of the Abergavenny 3 peaks walking trial. Visit castles a Welsh vineyard galleries or enjoy a trip on a narrow boat. Explore the Blaenavon Ironworks and The Big Pit - a World Heritage site maybe star gazing within the Brecon Beacons official International Dark Sky Reserve appeals to you. An abundance of other activities to try including pony trekking golf climbing fishing on Monmouthshire and Brecon canal or at Llandegfedd or Talybont reservoirs canoeing kayaking on the Usk and Wye rivers.
