About Salthouse Holiday Cottage

This cottage is situated in the coastal village of Salthouses on the North Norfolk coast. The village is the perfect spot for those who wish to enjoy a relaxed seaside holiday in quiet surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of some of the larger resort towns and villages. Salthouses offers an idyllic glimpse at life in this part of the world with miles of scenic walks to be enjoyed both on the pretty shingle beach and around the saltmarshes which are populated by an abundance of wildlife. The village has a convenient shop which is just next door to the cottage and prides itself on offering a fantastic range of local produce and therefore is great for stocking up on supplies. In addition to the shop there is also a pub and an excellent crab shop which offers eat-in meals and takeaway snacks and sandwiches. Guests approach this property across the private patio garden to the front door which opens onto a small hallway off from which doors lead through to the lounge and the dining room. The lounge has a wonderfully cosy feel to it with its beamed ceiling and warming open fire. There is plenty of space for six guests to relax including one sofa which is a sofa bed and can be used to accommodate two guests. There is a TV/DVD in the lounge here too as well as a music system with a CD player. Opposite the lounge the dining room has a wooden dining table and leads through to the kitchen which is equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge with ice compartment dishwasher and washing machine. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms two of these are peaceful single rooms whilst the other is an attractive double. The bathroom can also be found on the first floor offering a shower-over-bath and WC. Guests should be aware that this is a traditional cottage and doorways are lower than those found in modern houses. To the front of the property there is a pleasant patio garden which is furnished with a table and chairs making it a lovely spot to sit out with alfresco drinks in the evenings. There is off-road parking available for two cars.
