Cley next the Sea is one of Norfolk s most picturesque villages famous for its 18th century windmill and impressive 13th century church. The village offers a choice of independent art and craft shops art galleries and plenty of places to eat and drink. The village is close to a shingle beach and is home to the NWT Cley Marshes Nature Reserve the oldest and best known nature reserve in the region. Its lagoons reedbed and marsh attract a variety of wintering and migrating wildfowl and waders making it a haven for keen birdwatchers. You can also walk along the Norfolk Coastal Path and visit charming coastal towns and villages including Blakeney (1.5 miles) Wells-next-the-Sea (10 miles) and Cromer (12 miles). This beautifully converted single-level former apple store is set in the grounds of the owner s Georgian village house. It enjoys a tranquil spot tucked into the lee of the walled garden.
