Situated in the pretty village of Stratton an historic market town offering many wonderful walks and conveniently close to the Atlantic Highway you will be well-placed to explore this ever-popular area. Also located on the outskirts of the vibrant coastal town of Bude you will be close to a choice of beach a great selection of amenities including a golf course leisure centre indoor swimming pool a fully functioning outdoor sea pool tennis courts numerous shops and galleries and you can also enjoy a stroll along the picturesque canal. Alternatively head out on the South West Coast Path and visit the beautifully rugged beach at Northcott Mouth and the nearby wetland bird sanctuary and nature reserve. Other attractions accessible from here include Hartland Quay Tintagel The Eden Project the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly Rock Port Isaac and Padstow and numerous National Trust properties. Stepping into this delightful property you will immediately find yourself in the cosy lounge with lovely low ceilings and original inglenook fireplace. Here comfy sofas sit in front of a TV/DVD and behind one of these there is a useful pull out single bed that can be used to accommodate a fourth guest. From here head towards the rear of the property and down a few terracotta tiled steps into the kitchen/diner. This lovely light room looks out onto the garden and provides a perfect spot to enjoy a meal together after a day exploring. The kitchen itself is well-appointed too and offers an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. As you step back out of the kitchen and up the steps you will then find the first of the two bedrooms and this is a delightful compact yet perfectly presented single bedroom there is a separate WC opposite this. Then venturing up the main steep cottage style staircase and on to the first floor you will find the main double bedroom with beautiful curved walls and TV/DVD and located next to this there is a beautifully presented shower room with original beam shower and WC. Located outside and to the rear of the property there is a delightful little enclosed garden with patio area and garden furniture. Roadside parking is available nearby and there is also a free public carpark in the village and within walking distance.
