The tranquil village of Buxton lies just under 8 miles from Wroxham which marks the entry point to the Norfolk Broads. You can hire a day boat and cruise along the many miles of magical waterways and discover the welcoming pubs charming villages and historic churches along the way. The sandy beach at Mundesley is just 12 miles away or you could enjoy fishing on the private banks of the River Bure which is also navigable for canoes. You could also take a trip on the Bure Valley Railway steam trains which operate between Aylsham and Wroxham. The historic city of Norwich is just 11 miles away or you could head to the popular seaside resort of Cromer (14 miles).
