Traditional stone-built cottage located in the rural hamlet of Tindale only five miles from the market town of Brampton and Hadrian s Wall and bird watching at RSPB Geltsdale. The majestic Lanercost Priory only six miles away was founded in 1166 here you can observe fine English architecture and take in the history of this wonderful area. You could take a drive to Carlisle which is just 16 miles away where you can explore Carlisle Cathedral and the vibrant city centre which can offer a variety of shops restaurants and cafes. Less than a 35-mile drive you would arrive at the shores of Ullswater where you explore the wonders of the Lake District. Enter this stunning cottage directly into the spacious beamed kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A large farmhouse table takes pride of place in the room next to a warming wood burner. Moving into the lounge you have a well-positioned sofa with chairs in which to enjoy the warmth of an additional wood burner here you will be truly cosy and relaxed to watch the TV/DVD or listen to some tunes a perfect way to end the evening. Make your way back to the kitchen heading through to the rear of the cottage on your right you have a utility room with separate WC and washing machine. Head up the stairs to the two en-suite bedrooms immediately ahead of you is the large double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC and with views to the front and the rear of the cottage over the fellside and fields. Heading back to the corridor and down the hallway on your right you will come across a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as twin on request) with views over the fellside and en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with shower over bath and WC (please note that this is also accessed via the hallway). Making your way outside you will find an enclosed patio area with seating table and chairs. The ideal place for warm summer evenings al fresco dining and for you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that this area has to offer. There is bicycle storage available and there is off-road parking for two cars opposite the cottage. In this beautiful part of the country you will see some of the darkest skies in England - you can sit back and enjoy the beautiful night sky. Birdwatching is also a major pull for the area with a mix of habitats wildlife and stunning landscapes in this unique AONB.
