Set in a quaint village on the cusp of Wensleydale and close to the popular town of Bedale (4.5 miles) this attractive holiday home is perfect for exploring this beautiful part of North Yorkshire. Both Bedale and Leyburn (9.5 miles) have a great variety of independent shops restaurants pubs and cafes or you could head to Richmond (9 miles) and explore the castle ruins or to Ripon (18.5 miles) for a day at the races. Other attractions include The Forbidden Corner (13 miles) Aysgarth Falls (17 miles) and Bolton Castle (16 miles). For walkers and cyclists the Yorkshire Dales (16 miles) and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (10 miles) are both within easy reach. On entering this handsome holiday property you will find a spacious and welcoming lounge with a choice of comfortable seating TV and DVD making this a lovely space to relax in. Exploring further you will find the attractive open-plan kitchen/diner. The pretty garden room makes a wonderful dining space with views across the garden and beyond. With a large dining table and a delightful snug at the end of the room this is also a great space to relax after dinner with a selection of board games and an iPod dock. Moving into the traditional and stylishly designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an AGA style oven combi microwave oven dishwasher and a breakfast bar with a TV. The washing machine and dryer are stored in the nearby utility room. There is also an additional games room with TV DVD and PlayStation. The ground floor also features a handy shower room with WC. Heading upstairs you will find four cosy bedrooms. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed and looks out over the village and also has an en-suite shower room with WC. There s also a double room with garden views a twin room and a room with a trundle bed for up to two adults. There is also a bathroom complete with shower over the bath. Outside you will find a beautiful mature garden with a sheltered patio and plenty of garden furniture. There s a pleasant lawn and a mini-terrace at the rear of the garden. Here you can enjoy a BBQ or an afternoon drink while enjoying the gorgeous views of the paddock and the scenery beyond. There s also a tree swing for children in the back garden and you will also have access to three acres of paddock and fields belonging to the cottage s owner where children can run around. You may even have a visit from the owner s friendly horses. A large garage is suitable for storing bikes securely. Ample off-road parking is available for up to four cars.
