Perched on the hillside of the beautiful Esk Valley in the village of Sleights you could be hopping on a steam train at Grosmont or feeling the sand between your toes on Whitby s beach within minutes. The village itself is a peaceful village with a selection of shops and places to eat and there s a traditional pub serving hearty local food just along the road. Less than five miles away is the seaside town of Whitby where you ll find bustling medieval streets independent shops bars and cafes. Stepping inside this cottage is like receiving a warm hug from an old friend. This luxury property is seriously cute and cosy with high end touches that make guests feel cocooned in comfort and style. The welcoming sitting room has a lovely open fire comfortable furniture and stunning views of the North York Moors from the French doors. You ll also find plenty of technology games and books to keep everyone entertained. The pretty well-equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area features solid granite worktops and is stocked with the finest Wedgewood crockery and crystal glasses. A handy downstairs cloakroom houses a washing machine and tumble dryer along with a sink and WC. All three bedrooms have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. The first bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a walk-in shower. The two additional bedrooms are located on the first floor. The front of the cottage has a charming patio area perfect for soaking up the morning sun. However the star of the show is to the rear where you ll find a fabulous balcony from which to gaze at the stunning scenery along with a private garden with BBQ and outdoor furniture.
