Situated in the pretty village of Middleham Wensleydale this superb cottage offers guests the opportunity to discover the unspoilt countryside of the Yorkshire Dales whilst enjoying a range of shops and eateries within the village itself. As well as its castle the village is also famous for being home to several racehorse trainers and this property allows you to make the most of both; sit back and enjoy views of the castle whilst listening to the sound of horses hooves outside. Decorated to a very high standard you will love returning to this property at the end of a busy day exploring local highlights such as Bolton Castle (8 miles) and Wensleydale s many waterfalls including Aysgarth Falls (9 miles). Once you ve admired the attractive stone exterior step inside and you will find yourself in the beautiful lounge/diner. A charming blend of original features and cool contemporary décor with the gentle warmth of the heated flagstone flooring underfoot and the more intense heat of the wood burner. Adjacent to the lounge/diner is the bespoke country-style kitchen complete with Belfast sink marble worktop and breakfast bar. It is well-equipped to ensure you can cater for all your needs. Wandering upstairs you will first arrive at a mezzanine-style landing that offers a snug space to enjoy a book crossword or nap. Just off here is the splendid super-king master bedroom complete with a stylish walk-in shower in the en-suite (up a step from the bedroom). With its cool relaxing tones luxurious soft furnishings and views over the village this room is something special. The second bedroom can be found on the second floor in the eaves of the cottage and is also a super-king but can be made into twins on request. In here the open-plan en-suite allows you to enjoy a soak in the large roll-top bath whilst enjoying views across the village. To the rear of the property there is an immaculate courtyard with a small lawned area. With patio furniture and a BBQ this is the ideal space for al fresco dining as long as the Yorkshire weather allows. There is also a chimenea for those cool clear evenings when you want to sit outside and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple.
