Sitting just behind the market square in the charming town of Middleham Wensleydale this cottage is truly a best of both worlds getaway. With a local pub and shop within walking distance in addition to the scenic country walking and cycling routes that surround you. Take a stroll around the town and stop off in one of the charming tea rooms or wonderful restaurants and pubs. If you re looking for a day of family fun travel just 2.5 miles to visit the fantastic attraction; The Forbidden Corner. The charming market town of Leyburn sits just 2 miles away in the opposite direction. Here you will find typical Yorkshire shops pubs and cafes gathered around its handsome town square along with a market every Friday. Step through the small entrance hall leading through to the spacious light-filled lounge complete with wooden floorboards underfoot and traditional wood burner creating a truly homely space to unwind in. Make your way to the rear of the cottage to discover the generous contemporary kitchen which is a real pleasure to cook and dine in with the dining table offering wonderful views out onto the garden. When the day is done make your way upstairs to the two bedrooms. The peaceful master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and its own en-suite. The second bedroom is a sweet twin boasting exposed original beams. The house bathroom is on the first floor those who enjoy a long soak will be glad to find a bath in here. Step outside to enjoy a pleasant terrace offering partial-views across the Wensleydale countryside. Patio furniture and a BBQ are provided so you can take advantage of those summer evenings. The outside space is completely enclosed perfect if you have a furry pup in tow. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom and 1 twin bedroom (can be configured as a super king upon request but please mind your head as there are low beams). 1 en suite shower room, 1 family bathroom with bath and WC. Hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Enclosed garden with seating area. Traditional wood burner. Electric and heating included. TV. Wi Fi included. 1 dog welcome. Pub and shops within half a mile. BBQ available. DVD player. Parking there is normally on road parking available immediately outside the cottage, and further free parking just 200 yards away in the market square. Children are welcome but please bring your own travel cot and highchair.
